What if the person is already homeless?

A person who is homeless begins the process of securing housing at Passageways, which is the “passage way” to housing services in the City of Pasadena.

When there is no other appropriate housing available, and the client is very vulnerable (a pregnant woman, elderly person or family with young children), the Passageways’ staff will contact us for a motel voucher. We do not give out motel vouchers directly to clients.

Is there rental assistance for a person who is already homeless?

Union Station Homeless Services runs a program that in some cases assists homeless people with rental assistance. For initial guidelines, please go to their website: www.unionstationhs.org/housing.html
