Homeless Prevention Program

ECPAC has received a large stimulus grant to provide rental assistance to Pasadena residents who have been affected by the economic downturn and are at the point of eviction.

For more information, call 626-797-2402.

How does the program work? There two ways:

1. Attend the “Event” on the first Wednesday of the month. As representatives from many city agencies are available to assist the individual with their problems at the same time, it is a time saver for a person to begin the process at “the Event”.

2. Call 626-797-2402, and set up an appointment with one of our case managers.

What if the person is already homeless?

A person who is homeless begins the process of securing housing at Passageways, which is the “passage way” to housing services in the City of Pasadena.
When there is no other appropriate housing available, and the client is very vulnerable (a pregnant woman, elderly person or family with young children), the Passageways’ staff will contact us for a motel voucher. We do not give out motel vouchers directly to clients.
