ECPAC MISSION STATEMENT
The Ecumenical Council of Pasadena Area Churches is a transactional network
of Christian congregations dedicated to provide human survival services,
coordinate community activities and life up member ministries, all in
the name of God.
ECPAC
has been involved in the Pasadena religious community since its inception.
Some of our religious activities during the past year we have:
1. Sponsored
the Ecumenical Good Friday service at First Baptist Church of Pasadena
2. Participated in the Altadena Community Sunrise Service.
3. Held clergy lunches to promote collegiality and harmony among different
denominations.
4. Participated in the Martin Luther King Service with other religious
and community leaders.
5. Participated in the Black History Parade with other religious leaders.
6. Participated in the Pasadena Prayer conferences.
7. Met with religious leaders at Fuller Seminary function.
8. Participated in the Southern Ecumenical Interfaith Council Gatherings.
9. Addressed the Church Women United gathering.
10. Member of the Clergy Community Coalition.
ECPAC
has been involved in local community activities as well.
1. Member
of the Housing and Homeless network.
2. Member of the Mayor’s Committee for the United Nations Human
Rights Celebration.
3. Member of the Martin Luther King Art and Essay Contest Committee
(in preparation for MLK celebrations).
4. Member of the Pasadena Executive Coalition.
5. Participant in the Pasadena CROP Walk for Hunger.
